Back in the States

I'm back! And actually I have been back for awhile but this CO-VID 19 stuff has just been crazy, but I figured I should still keep you all updated since we're in self-isolation and social-distancing mode. It's actually been a blessing to be home and not stuck in another country during this time. I cut it pretty close though, I was in London the day before they declared a state of emergency. God was watching out for us as a team and we all made it back safely. I was so happy when I was on the plane and had no one sitting next to me but then I realized no one was sitting next to anyone. The plane was so empty everyone basically got their own row! It was quite roomy to say the least. It took me awhile to get home because I had so many legs to my flight but it all worked out; and when I did get to the states they screened me for Corona virus and sent me on my way.
So now, here I am in Sweet Home Oregon, not able to travel anywhere after traveling nonstop for five months. It's really weird you guys. I like the break, it's nice to sleep in a bed and not be worried about how safe the drinking water is. But, after painting and redecorating my room along with organizing everything and unpacking, I have to say I'm officially bored. But, don't fret, I have found some things to fill my time. I've been helping my mom, Susan Coleman, with her campaign as she runs for State Representative, I have been learning new things on Skillshare and trying to get little jobs here and there on a website called Upwork. So really, I had a boring few days but I've found things to do and really have cherished the quiet times I've had with the Lord during this time too. One thing that my parents have decided to do is make a schedule for everyone so that we don't sleep all day. So, every weekday in the morning, we meet together and do a little devotional; and it is so sweet. Each one of us is in charge of one day of the week, giving each person there own space to creatively express something the Lord's been teaching us. Usually, we listen to some worship songs and read a little from the bible and just discuss it or just rest in it and soak up the word of God. Even though this time back home has been very different and something I could have never prepared myself for, I am trusting in the Lord and so so grateful to have my family standing beside me.
With that being said, I don't know if all of you saw my YWAM summary video that got posted on Facebook a few weeks back, but in that video I revealed that I will be going back to staff the next DTS with YWAM Iceland! Well, of course Lord willing, since during this time things are a little scattered and up in the air. Although, whether I go back or not I would like to just ask for your guys' prayers for the next steps to take. Of course I will be praying for you all too, and I thank God for your amazing encouragement and support. If you would like to hear the story of how God told me I'd be returning to Iceland, check it out on my Facebook page .
I will be needing to raise more support for this fall and going back to staff; if the Lord puts it on your heart to donate the link for that is below also. It says you have to create an account but really you can donate as a guest. I can't thank you guys enough for the support and love that each one of you has bestowed upon me. Also, if you have any questions or would like to comment anything, there is a commenting section below but you can also directly message me through Facebook or Instagram.
God bless you all, and I pray that you are staying safe during this uncertain time!
